A little bit of my world...
If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day so I never have to live without you.
A. A. Milne  (via giovannafalcone1)

Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark, in the hopeless swamps of the approximate, the not-quite, the not-yet, the not-at-all.

Do not let the hero in your soul perish, in lonely frustration for the life you deserved, but have never been able to reach. Check your road and the nature of your battle.

The world you desired can be won. It exists, it is real, it is possible, it is yours.

My late night ramblings…

Why do we react the way we do? Especially towards someone we love, the phrase you take it out on the ones you love is so true but oppositely they are the ones who know how to really push your buttons. I’ve completely fallen out with my drunken other half as per usual he’s being completely useless with money an I’m left feeling why do I bother? I get so angry an it’s that split second moment where you should really walk away from your phone, but no I didn’t, I sent the message that I should have just calmed down and walked away from! So now - what to do? To apologize for saying things I felt so strongly about at the time and was that wound up about or to let him apologize for his part in it? My conscience says apologize but then will this not just happen again? He’s drunkenly snoring right now so am guessing he’s not thinking about this as much as me! I did probably overreact but when you don’t feel well you are more sensitive to things an get upset easier! Men just don’t think and see things the way we do in the slightest, when things mean that much to us they just don’t understand the significance and importance to us. Then we end up feeling rubbish even though it meant so much to us… oh well let’s see what tomorrow brings!

The talent for being happy is appreciating and liking what you have, instead of what you don’t have.
